would like to be a member of our new Dog Home Boarding Service for Tyne and Wear. The Dog carer will be a vital role to Helping Hands as you are providing care for our clients dogs in your home as an alternative to using dog boarding kennels when they go away! These positions will be on a " as and when needed " basis until the service is fully Established. The dog carer will be employed by Helping Hands and fully insured. The dog carer will be paid £10 per dog per day. All the dogs food and Bedding e.t.c will provided by the client. We are looking for lovely people who are experienced with dogs and would enjoy their company, and who would relish the chance to care for another persons dog as if it was their own. This position will suit someone who is home most of the time, as the dog boarding cant be left for longer than 3 hours per day. The dog carer cannot have small children or live near very busy roads.

This position is self employed, so you would be responsible to pay your own national insurance or tax.
The person we are looking for has to be....

* Be able to walk 2 or 3 dogs together
* You must have your own car

* Be agreeable to a Disclosure check (The charge of £23 is met by the Dogwalker ) and security checks.

* An excellent rate of pay per dog you walk
* A small round of 8 lovely dogs to walk based in Newcastle and Gateshead
* Approximately 15 hours a week work from Monday to Friday working between the hours of 11am and 2pm
* We provide all the equipment you need including duel leads and poop bags.
* Helping Hands work top.
* The Dogwalker is protected and covered by Helping Hands public liability insurance
* The Dogwalker can also have potentially more work with providing help with our other services.
