What
services do you offer? |
Here
at Royal Oak Farm we offer a number of services; Home
Boarding, Home visits, Pet
taxi & dog walking. We dont
only sit dogs we also specialise in looking after small
animals & birds. Set in 12 acres of farmland
your pets will experience a home from home service in a loving
family enviroment. With plenty of space for excercise, dogs
generally are walked twice a day & are also free to play
in our secure orchard. We also take in pet birds from bugies
to macaws. We are a Burns Holistic Pet Food distributor. |
If
you do pet sitting in your house, is your garden secure? |
We have a secure orchard area in which our canine visitors
love to play. |
If
you do dog walking or dog sitting, how long are your walks
with the dogs normally?

We
offer a minimum of 2 half hour walks around the land or country
lanes per day plus play times in the orchard area. |
How
many animals do you take into your house?
|
We
generally only take one familys dogs at any one time unless
the dogs are known to each other ( ie. friends animals who
are away together ). Maximum 3 dogs. |
Do
you offer any activities for the pets in your care? For
example Kong toys, search exercises, etc |
Toys
are always availble for our guests to play with. |
How
many pets do you have yourself and what are they? |
As
you can imagine living on a farm we have quite a few animals
, 4 dogs, 2 cats, 12 birds of prey, numerous parrots, chickens
, ducks, horses, ferrets & goldfish. So we know quite
a bit about small animals too. |
What
are your hobbies? |
We
love to ride both horses & motorcycles, love hand rearing
baby birds & walking as we are on the trans pennine way. |
Is
there anything that you would always recommend others to
try? |
Walking
along the Great Wall of China & a ride on a motorcycle
& fly a bird of prey. |
Do
you have dreams for the future? |
To
expand Royal Oak Farm to its full potential. |
