Which pet service/s do you offer?	Puppy Dog Hotel is the UK's leading home boarding service, offering a range of first class services. We specialise in the care and training of puppies and young dogs as supported by our work for a leading UK Assistance Dog Charity for over ten years. We are of course happy to accept dogs of any age and breed. We offer a non-smoking environment and are able to administer medication if required. We offer Holiday Cover, Day Care, Pet Taxi, Various Residential and/or Visiting Training options and Behaviour Issues. The dogs or puppies stay with us in our own home, they are NOT placed with a third party who may not be licensed and has little experience. Advanced booking is normally essential although it is always worth a phone call. We are of course fully licensed by Chiltern District Council and Insured. Easily accessible by Road, Rail or London Underground.
If you offer dog sitting or walking, please tell us some specifics.	We offer a stimulating and friendly environment for your treasured pet who will be loved and cared for as though it were our own. Located within an area of outstanding natural beauty within the beautiful Chiltern Hills. My family helps me walk the dogs in the morning and evenings. We have numerous walks including Enchanting Woodland, Rolling Fields and Sweeping Meadows on our doorstep. The Dogs are walked at least twice daily, normally each walk would be between 30-60 minutes. We also offer basic dog walking on either a regular basis or in emergencies. For over ten years we have socialised and offered basic training to a leading UK Assistance Dog Charity and as such may have one of their dog’s puppies staying with us. In addition we are licensed by Chiltern District Council & insured to have up to 4 dogs staying overnight with us. We are also licensed & insured to keep up to 6 dogs puppies for day care. We are inspected by Chiltern District Council who carries out a full inspection of our home at least twice a year. To obtain the license we have to comply with over 40 conditions they set. In addition we are fully insured. We have a large range of toys to stimulate dog’s puppies of all ages and breeds. We also offer both full and partial training if required. To date ALL of our UK Assistance Dogs we have socialised and trained have passed with flying colours.
What are your opening hours?	10am to 8pm 7 Days
How long have you run your business for (in months or years)?	UK Assistance Dogs 10 years + over 20 years experience. The Puppy Dog Hotel was started in early 2008 and now has clients nationwide.
What type of pet/s do you have yourself?	We have puppy’s dogs from our Charity work with the UK Assistance Dog Charity we support. and offer our services to various rescue charities including the Dog's Trust. We NEVER charge a charity for our help.
Do you have any recommendations to other pet owners?	Be patient, with your dog. Make training a fun and playful time. Take the time to train your puppy correctly. It will hopefully spend its entire life with you. A little time now will be reaped later. You will find no better friend.
Do you have any dreams for the future?	Possibly extending our business due to the overwhelming nationwide success of The Puppy Dog Hotel and continuing to enjoy our special canine friends.

The Puppy Dog Hotel is a fantastic find and we cannot recommend it highly enough. We are posting this after Alfie's second stay and once again he has come home a better trained dog. Joe, Karina and family are extremely knowledgeable and it is wonderful to be able to go on holiday with the peace of mind that Alfie is 100% happy and looked after. What can we say? Professional, pragmatic, extraordinarily loving and caring; Diggen truly was in heaven whilst in your care. You made our holiday so much more enjoyable as we were able to relax in the knowledge that Diggen was in safe hands. The video footage was an added bonus. Thanks for taking such good care of Skye during our holiday in the summer. We were a bit anxious about leaving our 13 week old puppy but after meeting your family we were confident that we have chosen the right place for Skye's holiday! Having been very anxious about leaving my 1year old dog for the first time I was absoulutely thrilled with the care and attention she recieved by people who clearly love animals and are not just out for making money. I also learnt a huge amount from Jo who was able to read Ginny like a book! She was happy and relaxed when I came back from holiday. I would not hesitate to use their service again. Lorraine Barton

Leaving our Labrador puppy, Jimmy Choo, with anyone, was for me just as serious as finding the right kind of babysitter for our children. Obviously not just anyone will do! Karina and Joe run a superb establishment, probably better care than in your own home! We are so glad to have found the Puppy Dog Hotel after an extensive search for the right place to care for Jaz (our 8 year old Weimaraner) while we are on holiday. Thanyou Karina and family for the wonderful care you gave to Loius my 5 month old puppy.During his stay the family helped Louis build his confidence and socialise with larger dogs. Everyday they complete a health check which fortunatly for Louis spotted an ear infection that was causing him some discomfort and quickly dealt with the minor infection. We went away for a few days with no one to look after our puppy husky called Marley. As you can imagine being a puppy and leaving him was going to be hard for us. Karina and her family had Marley for a few days. I am extremely happy with the care that he was given and definately will be asking them again in the future im surprised he even wanted to come home. Thank you, Karina, Joe and family, for looking after Oscar and Toby so well. They returned to us sleek, happy and much better behaved than when we left them! Oscar is now much calmer, and has stopped the habit of scratching at visitors, which made him unpopular. The change is amazing! Dear Karina and family. Thank you so much for looking after our puppy Lola, while we were away over half term. We were worried leaving her at such a young age, but you did a fantastic job. All my concerns mentioned to you when we left her have now been dealt with, with your expertise and great advice. We have not had one 'accident' since collecting her over two weeks ago so I think you cracked this for us! As well as generally training her, especially with her recall out in the park I can now confidently let her off the lead and know she will come back to us. She now sits and lies beautifully using only hand signals....Everyone around me is truly impressed! Your whole family have a fantastic way and know how with dogs. Thank you especially to your daughter Amelia for keeping my daughter updated with text messages with her progress during our holiday, this was very much appreciated.
