Which pet service/s do you offer? |
I offer dog walking and one to one dog training for those who prefer not to go to classes. |
If you offer dog sitting or walking, please tell us some specifics. |
I take no more than 4 dogs on my walks and they last for 1 hour. Dogs are picked up from their home and then taken somewhere fun like the park or countryside where they can stretch their legs and let off steam! Dogs are probably out of the house for 2 hours by the time they are dropped off. I always take toys out to make the walk more fun and so I can interact with the dogs and they can play with each other. I also practice basic obedience with the dogs such as sit and wait so that they get to learn as well as have fun! dog sitting is something I only offer with my walking clients at the moment. |

What type of pet/s do you have yourself? |
I have a very loving and extremely lively cocker spaniel who keeps me very fit and entertains me endlessly! I also have a dwarf hamster who is quite an old boy now at over 2 years old! |
Do you have any recommendations to other pet owners? |
If you show your pets plenty of love, affection and patience you will reap the benefits back. Ensure your dog gets plenty of exercise as a lack of exercise can lead to many behavioural problems. I would also recommend that all new puppy owners take their puppy to socialisation classes this helps them to build confidence and learn to interact with other dogs and people whilst dealing with a variety of situations ultimately leading to a well adjusted and happy pet.. |
Do you have any dreams for the future? |
To own a house in the country with land to rehabilitate rescue dogs and those in need. |
Nicola's service has been a godsend to me and my dog Leia. When I come home from work Leia is always curled up on her bed satisfied after having been out with Nicola. I really like the visit notes so that I know what Leia has done that day. Hazel Allan
